The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Margabiaru has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Harri rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Margabiaru moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Harri has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Team Finland in the buildup to the fight.

Harri tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Margabiaru is able to avoid easily.
Margabiaru uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Harri has time to react.
A lazy left from Margabiaru finds it's target.
Harri fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Margabiaru manages to avoid it.
Margabiaru misses the shot to the body.
Harri tries to score a power double leg takedown but Margabiaru sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harri somewhat.

Margabiaru is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Harri rather than just go for the knockout.

Margabiaru lands a left and a right that send Harri crashing to the mat, dazed. Margabiaru thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Harri feints and then cracks Margabiaru's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Margabiaru down.

Margabiaru swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Harri takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Multtuli Margabiaru is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Harri tries to close the distance and clinch but Margabiaru swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Harri tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Margabiaru throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Margabiaru cracks Harri with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Margabiaru has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Harri to stand back up!

Hullu Harri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Margabiaru looks to score with a jab to the body but Harri is just out of range.
Margabiaru misses with a series of wild punches.
Margabiaru throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Margabiaru counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Margabiaru is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Harri had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

and Margabiaru counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Margabiaru sends Harri crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Margabiaru is motioning to the referee to let Harri up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
