Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Hicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hicks changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hammer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Hammer's coaches at ~T~ Troid - Gym have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Hicks has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Warrior MMA and Fitness. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Hammer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hicks on the ground.

Hicks has hold of Hammer's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hammer seems comfortable defending it but Hicks has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hammer is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hammer is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hicks couldn't care less - he's delighted!
