Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore closes the distance and clinches up with Potter, looking for a takedown. Moore pushes Potter against the cage but Potter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Potter shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Moore is defending against the submission attempts here by Potter.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Potter has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Moore is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Moore is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Potter is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Moore to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Moore shrugs it off.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Potter tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Moore is squirming around, avoiding Potter's attempts to control the action.
Potter takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Potter tries to control but Moore wriggling away.
Potter blocks Moore's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Potter controlling his opponent.
Moore tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Potter looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Potter looking to control but Moore is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Moore knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Potter on the ground.

Potter is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Moore can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Potter is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Moore is surviving well by controlling Potter's body position as best he can.

Potter working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Moore turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Potter off and cradles Moore's limp body as Potter celebrates with his corner.
