The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Mills throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Lucas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mills manages to avoid it.
Mills throws a big shot that misses.
A slow jab from Mills misses its intended target.
Lucas throws a body punch but Mills moves out of range.
An inside leg kick lands from Lucas.
Lucas swings for the body but Mills moves out of range.
Mills shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lucas pinned against the cage. Lucas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mills is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Mills clobbers Lucas with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nice straight punches there by Lucas. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lucas.
Lucas's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mills connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lucas scrambles back to his feet.

Mills shoots for a double leg takedown but Lucas sprawls well. He's pushed Mills's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Travis Lucas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamey Mills.
Lucas tries to move into range but Mills moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Lucas counters with a head kick that drops Mills to the mat! Mills scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Mills circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Lucas. Mills falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Lucas!

After the fight, Travis Lucas was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
