Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tor Pellinore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mano Thao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pellinore's entrance music is Alpha King. A fine choice. Thao has chosen Sabotage by Beastie Boys as his entrance music. Tor Pellinore has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tor Pellinore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mano Thao!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thao tries to clinch but Pellinore is having none of it.
Thao goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Thao misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Thao crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pellinore - the referee stops the clock and Thao gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pellinore. Thao manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Pellinore is looking to slow Thao down with leg kicks.
Pellinore uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Thao.
Thao wants to clinch.
A big left from Pellinore misses.
Pellinore tries a head kick but it misses.
Thao looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pellinore lands a big head kick that sends Thao tumbling to the mat! Pellinore takes a step backwards and waves Thao back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Thao is rocked!
It looks like Mano Thao has been cut.
Thao bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Pellinore comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Thao falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Thao was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tor Pellinore!
