The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dobrik chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Dobrik tests Rounikki's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Rounikki fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dobrik sprawls well initially but Rounikki persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dobrik is staying active underneath Rounikki, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Rounikki looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dobrik is trying to stand back up but Rounikki is controlling him
Rounikki has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Rounikki trying to control but Dobrik is having none of it.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Dobrik wants to try and get back to his feet.
Rounikki tries to control but Dobrik wriggling away.

Rounikki jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dobrik manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Dobrik is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Rounikki asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Rounikki wants to control but Dobrik is keeping him busy.

Rounikki has hold of Dobrik's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Dobrik tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Rounikki cranks the arm and Dobrik screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Dobrik, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
