Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws a leg kick but Colbert sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Colbert keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Colbert avoids the body shot from Anderson.
Colbert throws a right hand that Anderson ducks under and follows up with a left that Anderson also avoids with ease.

Anderson takes a swing at Colbert's ribcage but misses.
Anderson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

It looks like Dean Anderson has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Anderson shoots in for a double leg but Colbert sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Anderson shoots in looking for a takedown but Colbert manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Anderson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Anderson has been working on his balance at Rutgers Athletic Club, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Colbert.

Anderson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Colbert tries to hold on but Anderson pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Dean Anderson will probably get the nod.

Anderson stuns Colbert with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Colbert sizes up Anderson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Anderson shoots in and bounces Colbert off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Colbert has Anderson pulled in close to control his posture.
Anderson postures up in Colbert's guard and throws a big left but Colbert blocks it.

Anderson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anderson is fighting to break Colbert's control of his arms but Colbert is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
