Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wilford Booker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gople Pokak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Wilford Booker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Gople Pokak!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pokak throws a hook to the side of Booker's head but Booker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Pokak fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Booker to the ground. Pokak is now in Booker's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Pokak stands and throws Booker's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Booker can't do much from the bottom here.
Booker takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Pokak working the ground and pound from side control.
Booker might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Booker is looking to regain half guard here but Pokak keeps moving and retains side control.
The strikes coming from Pokak are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Booker is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Pokak wants to stand but Booker is controlling his arm.

Pokak thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pokak grinds an elbow into Booker's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pokak tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Booker is looking to reverse the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Booker is working hard here to advance position.
Booker is being controlled here.

Pokak thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Booker is pushing Pokak's head away, looking to escape. Pokak manages to hold on to the position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Pokak working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Booker wants to control but Pokak postures up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pokak works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Booker is not content to let Pokak control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gople Pokak dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Pokak is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Booker's half guard.

Booker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pokak on the ground.
Pokak throwing shots but Booker is blocking nicely.
Pokak perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Booker tries to roll over but Pokak keeps him under control.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Gople Pokak hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Pokak closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Pokak is looking for a kimura but Booker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pokak to get the leverage.
Pokak lands with a punch from half guard.
Booker trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Pokak controlling the position easily from mount.
Pokak fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!


Booker is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Pokak is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Pokak extends the arm and Booker is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Gople Pokak!
Our winner, Gople Pokak, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
