Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between backup help (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jiu jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jiu jitsu has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jitsu moves out of range as help throws a body kick.
help takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
jiu jitsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for jitsu with that takedown attempt.
help blocks a leg kick.
help misses with an attempted mid kick.
help fails with the takedown.
jitsu keeps the fight on the outside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
help looks for the body kick but jitsu saw that one coming.
jitsu fails in his attempt to clinch.
help looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and help counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
help scores a nice knee to the body.
jitsu is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
help connects with a nasty looking knee right to jitsu's face.

jitsu tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

jitsu jumps guard and drags help to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as jitsu holds on and takes a little breather.

jitsu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
help is breathing heavily.
jitsu throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
jitsu sitting and controlling from the half guard.
jitsu thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed help's head.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with jitsu in particular looking to stall.
jitsu drops an elbow to the side of help's head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

jitsu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but help moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

jitsu looks for a takedown but help sprawls well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

help closes the distance and clinches up with jitsu, looking for a takedown. help pushes jitsu against the cage but jitsu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

jitsu shoots in and bounces help off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

jitsu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and jitsu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
jitsu passes help's left leg - he's now in half guard.

jitsu has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can help defend it? jitsu steps over the head and cranks it - help is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for jitsu!
