The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pensis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boomer was well out of range. Poor timing from Pensis.
Pensis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ansis Pensis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A solid body kick from Boomer.
Pensis is breathing heavily.
Boomer scores with a push kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boomer buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Boomer connects with a solid leg kick.
Boomer lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pensis's sensitive parts.

Boomer cracks Pensis with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Boomer has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pensis to stand back up!

It looks like Ansis Pensis has been cut.
Boomer throws a leg kick which misses Pensis's front leg but catches the back leg as Pensis tries to avoid it.
Boomer cracks the inside of Pensis's front leg.
Pensis tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Boomer fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pensis.
Boomer bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Boomer thumps Pensis with a low kick.
Boomer buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pensis has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Pensis takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Boomer keeps Pensis at a distance using the push kick.
Pensis takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Boomer scoring well with a low kick there.
Boomer throws a series of punches but Pensis moves out of range.
Pensis leaves his chin hanging out and Boomer seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Pensis crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
