Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Toughguy looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jones defending well as Toughguy loads up on a big left hand.
Toughguy tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.
Jones lands a left and a right that sends Toughguy crashing to the canvas! Jones dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like Secada Toughguy has been cut.

Jones jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Toughguy manages to avoid the submission attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Toughguy has escaped the position, nice work there.

Jones decides to stand back up. Jones steps back and let's Toughguy get back to his feet.
Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jones lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Toughguy gets caught flat footed, as Jones shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jones passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Toughguy is looking to reverse the position.

Jones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Toughguy has escaped the position, nice work there.

Jones stands up and beckons Toughguy to his feet.

Toughguy gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Toughguy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Toughguy is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea.
Toughguy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Jones wants to try and get back to his feet.
Toughguy with the ground and pound from mount.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Toughguy punching from mount but Jones doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Jones is looking to get to half guard.
Jones avoids a series of strikes thrown by Toughguy.

Toughguy goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jones turns into him and now he's in Toughguy's guard.
Jones wants to control from the top but Toughguy keeps moving.

Jones gets to his feet. Toughguy looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Jones drives through with a takedown into guard.
Toughguy tries to strike from the bottom.

Jones decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Toughguy, up you get!
Toughguy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jones counters with a straight right hand.
Toughguy is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jones.
Toughguy tries to clinch up

and Jones counters with a nice double leg into side control. Toughguy won't be happy with that.

Toughguy is wriggling around trying to escape but Jones has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Toughguy taps out and Jones picks up the big win! Great work there by Jones!
