The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evurts throws a right hand that Laine ducks under and follows up with a left that Laine also avoids with ease.
Laine bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Evurts looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Laine lands an overhand right.
Evurts misses with a combination
and Laine counters with an outside leg kick.
Laine lands a right hook to the body.
Laine thows a body shot but no joy.
Evurts avoids the head kick by Laine.
Evurts definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Evurts throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Evurts moves forwards but Laine connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Laine feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Evurtss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Laine counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Laine cracks Evurts with an open hand slap.
Laine swings for the body but Evurts moves out of range.
Evurts misses with a series of wild punches.
Laine just misses with a punch to the body.
Laine ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Laine counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Laine throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Laine rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Evurts moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Laine throws a leg kick which misses Evurts's front leg but catches the back leg as Evurts tries to avoid it.
Laine throws a good cross that connects.
Evurts on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Laine. Laine obviously looking to wear him down.
Laine lands a leg kick that knocks Evurts off balance momentarily.
Laine misses with a body kick.
Stephan Evurts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laine throws a quick inside leg kick.
Laine is looking to slow Evurts down with leg kicks.

Laine sends Evurts crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Laine is motioning to the referee to let Evurts up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Evurts is breathing heavily.
Evurts on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Laine throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Evurts colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Laine as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Evurts is left battered and dazed whilst Laine and his camp cheer!
