Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Childish Gambino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gambino comes to the cage accompanied by Freaks and Geeks. Billy Bob acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Billy Bob!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gambino is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bob.
Gambino throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bob fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gambino to the ground. Bob is now in Gambino's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Gambino is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bob defends well.

Bob wants to control from the top but Gambino keeps moving.
Gambino is looking to stand up but Bob isn't so interested in that idea.
Bob throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gambino works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Bob postures up in Gambino's guard and throws a big left but Gambino blocks it.

Gambino is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bob pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Bob takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Bob working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gambino regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bob.

Gambino is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Billy Bob dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bob has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Billy Bob has been cut.
Bob shoots in for a double leg but Gambino sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bob tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gambino manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bob tries to land a front kick but Gambino steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Gambino counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gambino takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Billy Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gambino misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bob scores with a hook to the body. Gambino takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Gambino looks to score with a jab to the body but Bob is just out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gambino is trying to break the clinch but Bob has him pressed against the cage.
Bob is trying to drag Gambino to the mat but Gambino just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Gambino pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bob takes a swing at Gambino's ribcage but misses.

Gambino gets caught napping as Bob dives in and scores a takedown. Gambino manages to retain guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bob cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gambino sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Gambino manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bob manages to get himself to full guard.
Gambino is fighting to break Bob's control of his arms but Bob is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bob has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gambino can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
