Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Overdose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiranuka Stakanu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overdose comes to the cage accompanied by Powerthirst. Stakanu has chosen Oy, To Ne Vecher as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stakanu misses with a left hand
and Overdose counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Stakanu throws a nice looking combination but Overdose bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Overdose takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Overdose takes one on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stakanu scores with a jab to the jaw.

Stakanu decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Stakanu is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Stakanu unloads with some shots from mount but Overdose bucks and avoids them well.
Stakanu throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Stakanu pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Stakanu working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

BOOM! Stakanu connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Stakanu postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Overdose out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Stakanu goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
