The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Justice fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Justice misses with a double jab.

Hentes gets tackled into the cage by Justice. Justice maintains the clinch.

Hentes pulls guard effortlessly.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hentes looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Justice must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Hentes has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Justice postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Wolverine Justice has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Hentes takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Hentes counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Justice's guard now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hentes is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Hentes seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Justice for as long as he can get away with.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hentes is taking a breather. Justice says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Oliver Hentes wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Justice fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hentes looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hentes is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Justice shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hentes as he jumps to the side.

Hentes avoids a punch combination nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Justice shoots in but Hentes avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Justice closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hentes circles away.

That was a close round but I would say that Oliver Hentes will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Hentes counters with a nice double leg into side control. Justice won't be happy with that.

Hentes takes a little break here. Justice wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Oliver Hentes.
Justice wants to clinch up but Hentes keeps it at a distance.
Justice shoots for a double leg takedown but Hentes sprawls well. He's pushed Justice's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Justice throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hentes tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Justice is in Hentes's guard.

Hentes has his foot on Justice's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Justice works his way back into a safe position though.

Oliver Hentes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Hentes's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Hentes blocks a leg kick.
Justice tries to bum rush Hentes with a series of wild strikes but Hentes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Justice looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Justice throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hentes was covering up waiting for the punch and Justice finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Justice paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Hentes - great work!
