Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vince Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffery Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vince Green is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green fails with the takedown.

Green darts in and clinches Thompson up against the cage.

Green drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Thompson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
A frustrated look appears on Thompson's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Thompson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Green swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Thompson wants to stand but Green has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Green is trying to control the position but Thompson postures up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Vince Green.
Green throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thompson's waist but Thompson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Green off to one side.
Thompson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Green circles away quickly and effectively.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Green is trying to trip Thompson. He has hold of a leg but Thompson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Green persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Green is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Thompson is just riding it out for now. Green eventually gives up the hold.

Green has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Thompson regains guard immediately.

Thompson is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Green presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vince Green.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Green, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
