Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sun Hui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lex Wight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lex Wight will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Wight. Hui shrugs it off though.
Wight tries to bum rush Hui with a series of wild strikes but Hui uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hui lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Wight lands with a slapping head kick.
Hui darts in looking for a takedown but Wight gets double underhooks and turns Hui into the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

We've been informed that Wight has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Wight lands a head kick. Hui smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Wight digs a right hand underneath Hui's ribcage. Hui let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Wight misses with an elbow over the top.
Wight throws a knee to the head but misses.

Wight breaks from the clinch.
Wight is looking to clinch but Hui is avoiding it.

A punch combination from Wight misses.
Hui misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lex Wight is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wight lands with a kick to the temple. Hui shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Wight tries to clinch but Hui moves out of range.
Hui takes a kick to the side of the head.

Sun Hui's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wight lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hui backwards.

Wight escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hui wants to take the fight to the mat but Wight manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Hui avoids a wild elbow strike from Wight.

Wight throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hui blocks it with crossed arms.

Wight breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Wight lands a big head kick that sends Hui tumbling to the mat! Wight takes a step backwards and waves Hui back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Hui is rocked!
Wight bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Oh Hui is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Wight rushes Hui and presses him up against the cage.
Hui seems to have got his legs back now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Wight creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Hui dodges an elbow strike from Wight.
Wight lands an elbow that stopped Hui in his tracks for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lex Wight dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hui fails to land with a series of punches.
Wight tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hui manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Lex Wight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hui's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Jeez, Sun Hui's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Hui drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wight pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hui throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hui throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wight's waist but Wight gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hui off to one side.
Sun Hui is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wight throws a right hand that Hui ducks under and follows up with a left that Hui also avoids with ease.
Wight is looking to clinch but Hui is avoiding it.
Lex Wight seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Hui gets tackled into the cage by Wight. Wight maintains the clinch.

Wight pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sun Hui's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
