Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derec Waller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Waller comes to the cage accompanied by You Never Can Tell. Cruz comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tech N9ne - Livin' Like I'm Dyin kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Felix Cruz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derec Waller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Felix Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz blocks a jab.
A right-left combo lands from Cruz.
Cruz takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Felix Cruz has been cut.
Cruz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Waller tries to avoid it but Cruz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Waller to the ground. Waller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cruz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Waller throws a monster overhand right that drops Cruz! Waller follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Derec Waller!
After the fight, Derec Waller was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Felix Cruz was interviewed post fight and said 'I would like to thank my manager, my fans, my sponsors and my gym. I will be back hungry and ready for a battle.'.
