Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marek Contofalsky!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a wild body shot.
No joy there for Contofalsky, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones misses the shot to the body.
We've been informed that Contofalsky has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Jones throws a body punch but Contofalsky moves out of range.
Contofalsky ducks under a wild hook from Jones.

Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Contofalsky sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jones looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Contofalsky is trying to maintain the position but Jones is very close to passing his half guard.

Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Contofalsky is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold.

We've been hearing that Jones has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Jones takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Jones is working for a kimura but Contofalsky is defending it quite comfortably.
Contofalsky is controlling Jones's trapped leg to prevent Jones from advancing to side control.

Contofalsky won't allow Jones to pass to mount.
Jones thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Contofalsky's head.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Contofalsky can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jones thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Contofalsky misses with the combination.
Jones tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Contofalsky defends well and Jones ends up having to push Contofalsky into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Jones is trying to trip Contofalsky. He has hold of a leg but Contofalsky is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jones persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Jones is looking to work some ground and pound but Contofalsky has wrist control.
Jones loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Vinnie Jones just wasn't active enough.
Jones misses with a body shot.
Contofalsky lands a two punch combo.

Contofalsky gets caught napping as Jones dives in and scores a takedown. Contofalsky manages to retain guard.
Contofalsky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Contofalsky wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Jones is now in half guard.

Jones wants to pass to mount but Contofalsky is defending the position.
Jones throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Jones is trying to work for a kimura but Contofalsky is defending well.
Contofalsky is trying to maintain the position but Jones is very close to passing his half guard.

Jones works his foot free and advances to mount.
Jones wants to control the pace but Contofalsky is squirming around nicely.
BOOM! Jones connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Contofalsky in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Contofalsky tries to hold on but Jones postures up.
Jones putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Vinnie Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones lands with some strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jones swings for the body but Contofalsky moves out of range.

Jones scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Contofalsky is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jones scores with a couple of nice shots.
Contofalsky has hold of Jones's hands but Jones slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Jones slips a nice elbow through Contofalsky's hands, connecting with Contofalsky's forehead.

Jones controlling the action here.
Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Contofalsky keeps working.

Jones maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Contofalsky could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Jones has cracked it and Contofalsky is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Jones!
