Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeshi Watanabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Game of Death. Takeshi Watanabe told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Takeshi Watanabe!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watanabe throws a lazy right hand but Lee sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Takeshi Watanabe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Watanabe swinging wildly here.
The fighters circling - Watanabe throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Watanabe blocks a head kick by Lee.
Watanabe throws an overhand right that lands on Lee's shoulder, as Lee tries to avoid the shot.
Lee dips to his left and cracks Watanabe with an uppercut!
Lee looks to throw the jab but Watanabe is out of range.
Lee fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Watanabe on the side of the head.
Watanabe feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lees jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Lee loads up on a big right hand but Watanabe slips the punch.
Lee misses with a looping left.
Watanabe keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lee.
Lee misses with a head kick.
Lee works Watanabe's body with a nice hook.
Lee moves away from the strike by Watanabe.
Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lee throws a body punch but Watanabe moves out of range.
Lee lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Lee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Watanabe.
Watanabe blocks a head kick by Lee.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Watanabe throws an overhand right that lands on Lee's shoulder, as Lee tries to avoid the shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Watanabe keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lee.
Watanabe misses with an uppercut. Lee saw that one coming.
Watanabe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lee with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Watanabe to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Bruce Lee has been cut.
Watanabe throws a series of strikes that have Lee backpedaling.
Lee is rocked!
Watanabe flashes Lee a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Lee's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Lee crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Watanabe punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Takeshi Watanabe!
