Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jakub Kocenda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kocenda comes to the cage accompanied by Untouched. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jakub Kocenda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jonathan Scott!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott leaves Kocenda with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kocenda keeps the fight on the outside.
Kocenda shoots in but Scott avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Scott misses with a body shot.
Kocenda dives in and grabs Scott's left leg, looking for a takedown. Scott pushes down on Kocenda's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jakub Kocenda. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Scott tries to close the distance and clinch but Kocenda swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Scott fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kocenda, pushing him back against the cage.
Scott wants a takedown.

Kocenda manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Kocenda is looking for a triangle but Scott pushes his legs off easily.

Kocenda lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Scott!
Scott keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Scott is in a horrible position here. Kocenda smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Kocenda wants to control the pace but Scott is squirming around nicely.

Scott wants to control but Kocenda is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kocenda can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Scott is looking to escape.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Scott can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kocenda trying to control but he's not successful this time.

We're going to have a standup here because Jakub Kocenda wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Scott darts in looking for a takedown but Kocenda gets double underhooks and turns Scott into the cage.

Kocenda decides to pull guard.
Kocenda wants to sweep but no luck.
Kocenda looking to control.

Scott preventing the sweep.
Kocenda keeping moving, preventing Scott from controlling successfully.
Scott pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kocenda is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Scott has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kocenda to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Scott is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kocenda pulls down on the head and he's put Scott to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jakub Kocenda!
A less than humble Jakub Kocenda misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Jonathan Scott was interviewed post fight and said 'meh....'.
