Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ford Atlas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Dodds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ford Atlas has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ford Atlas seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frankie Dodds!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atlas drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Dodds looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Atlas looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Atlas is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dodds has escaped the position, nice work there.
Atlas is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dodds knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Atlas has hold of Dodds's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dodds seems comfortable defending it but Atlas has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dodds is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dodds is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Atlas couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ford Atlas!
In his post fight interview, Ford Atlas started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
