Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crim waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rq.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Crim.
Rq throws a hook but Crim blocks it.
Rq listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Rq definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Crim fails with a takedown attempt.
Crim rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rq moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Crim has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Crim there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rq feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Crims jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Crim looks to land a left hand but Rq moved out of range nicely.
Rq throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Crim sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Crim misses with a hook
and Rq counters with a straight right hand.

Sys Rq has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Crim.
Rq blocks a head kick by Crim.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Crim is defended easily by Rq.
Crim scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Rq counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Rq tries to clinch there but Crim circles away.
Crim wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Rq uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Rq rushes Crim and presses him up against the cage.

Crim has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Rq after a bit of a struggle.

Rq uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Crim.

Crim has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rq finds it's way round the side to connect with Crim's head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Crim shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Crim showed some decent athleticism there.
Rq wants to control but Crim is keeping busy.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rq regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Crim.

Rq loads up on a big right hand but Crim slips the punch.

Rq keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Crim takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Crim looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rq is fending him off so far but Crim persists. Nope, Rq circles away and we're back to standing.

Crim is working for takedown but Rq is calmly controlling the position for now.
