The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lorenzen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Martinsson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lorenzen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Lorenzen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Martinsson lands a nice shot to the head.
Martinsson has hold of Lorenzen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lorenzen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Martinsson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lorenzen's face.

Martinsson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Martinsson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lorenzen's guard.
Lorenzen pushes Martinsson off looking to stand but Martinsson dives back in and keeps control.

Martinsson is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Martinsson is working for a rear naked choke. Lorenzen is not defending it well and Martinsson has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Lorenzen refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Lorenzen's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
