With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helio dos Passos!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dos Passos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dylan's waist but Dylan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing dos Passos off to one side.
Dylan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Helio dos Passos has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

dos Passos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dylan's guard.

Dylan is trying desperately to improve position.
dos Passos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Let's hope that dos Passos has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Helio dos Passos.

Dylan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into dos Passos's guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dylan slaps away a takedown attempt from dos Passos, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Nice takedown defense from Dylan. No joy for dos Passos on that attempt.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Dylan here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

dos Passos tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dylan swivels and escapes.

Dylan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
dos Passos shoots for a double leg takedown but Dylan sprawls well. He's pushed dos Passos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dylan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt dos Passos.

Dylan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
dos Passos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dylan pinned against the cage. Dylan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

dos Passos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dylan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Dylan is pushing down on dos Passos's leg trying to pass to half guard. dos Passos is fighting to maintain full guard but Dylan has managed to sneak the leg through.
Dylan uses his free foot to push down on dos Passos's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for dos Passos.
dos Passos is bucking up trying to escape but Dylan cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

dos Passos is looking to improve his position but Dylan isn't that keen on the idea.
Dylan wants to control but instead dos Passos manages to regain half guard.
Dylan wants to lay and pray for a moment but dos Passos keeps working.

Dylan is working for a kimura but dos Passos is defending it quite comfortably.
