Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roufus Kaine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Patricio Rua!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua tries to clinch there but Kaine circles away.
Kaine cracks a nice hook into Rua's ribs.
Kaine moves out of range of the body kick from Rua.
Rua has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kaine.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Kaine.
Rua closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Rua working hard to break the clinch.
Kaine is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Rua is keeping busy.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kaine.
Rua breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kaine throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rua tries to clinch up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rua tries to clinch but Kaine is having none of it.
Rua darts in trying to clinch
letting Kaine counter with a right hand.
Kaine goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Kaine.

Kaine keeps the fight on the outside.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kaine. Rua shrugs it off though.
Rua wants to clinch.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch but Kaine swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kaine chopping away at his opponent's legs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kaine lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kaine.
Rua is rocked!
Kaine lands a brutal head kick. Rua looks out on his feet and Kaine throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Roufus Kaine!
