Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Demarce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Christian Orsted!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orsted wants to clinch up but Demarce keeps it at a distance.
Demarce misses with a kick to the body
and Orsted counters with a solid body kick.

Demarce gets a double leg takedown into Orsted's guard.

Demarce gets to his feet. Orsted looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Demarce is trying to get an arm triangle but Orsted is defending well.

Demarce decides to stand back up.

Demarce darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Demarce seems content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Orsted is looking to escape.
Demarce with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Kyle Demarce has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Orsted closes the distance and clinches up with Demarce, looking for a takedown. Orsted pushes Demarce against the cage but Demarce circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Orsted enables Demarce to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Orsted manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Orsted gets control of Demarce's arms and successfully pulls guard. Orsted will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Demarce sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Orsted's guard.

Demarce throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Orsted was covering up waiting for the punch and Demarce finishes the takedown easily into guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
