Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robin Carlgren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Carlgren shoots in but Reid avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Reid fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Carlgren sprawls well initially but Reid persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Reid is looking for a kimura but Carlgren is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Reid to get the leverage.
Reid tries to pass to full mount but Carlgren defends it.

Reid seems to be looking for submissions.

Carlgren on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Carlgren tries to get out of the position.
Carlgren tries to roll over but Reid keeps him under control.
Reid passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Carlgren!

Carlgren working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reid doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reid manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Carlgren is squirming around, avoiding Reid's attempts to control the action.

Carlgren has left one of his arms exposed and Reid doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Carlgren screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
