The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killington fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Good exchange - Killington coming out on top.
Papadopoulos tries for a takedown but Killington sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Killington bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Papadopoulos's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Papadopoulos with a poor takedown
and Killington counters with a crisp one two that drops Papadopoulos! Killington thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Papadopoulos to his feet! Papadopoulos is in big trouble!
Killington connects with a single shot there.
Papadopoulos is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Killington engages and cracks Papadopoulos with a massive lead left hook - Papadopoulos tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Killington is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Buzz Killington!
After the fight, Buzz Killington was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
