The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bones misses with a double jab.
Santos throws a leg kick but Bones sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Bones moves into the clinch.

Santos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bones fails to land the takedown.
Bones stalks Santos and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Santos's face. Santos staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Jae Santos has been cut.
Santos takes one to the side of the head.
A combination from Bones does no damage.

Bones rushes Santos and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Santos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jae Santos will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jae Santos.
