The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mirko swinging wildly here.
Tarake keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mirko.
Mirko tries to clinch there but Tarake circles away.

Mirko fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tarake looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mirko scores with a one two! Tarake had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Mirko finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Tarake fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mirko sprawls well initially but Tarake persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mirko is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tarake scores with a couple of nice shots.

Tarake slips a nice elbow through Mirko's hands, connecting with Mirko's forehead.

Tarake is taking a breather. Mirko says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
