Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Petrasek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Collins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, David Petrasek!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins closes the distance but Petrasek moves to the side

and Petrasek counters with a series of strikes that sends Collins to the canvas! Petrasek follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!


Collins is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Petrasek wants to stand but Collins has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Oh Collins is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Collins seems to have got his legs back now.
Collins manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Collins wants to control the pace but Petrasek is squirming around nicely.

Collins has control of Petrasek's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Petrasek regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Petrasek rolls, trying to escape but Collins keeps control of the position.

I really don't envy Petrasek right now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Collins is looking for the choke from the back position but Petrasek is controlling his hands well.
Petrasek is trying to break free.

Petrasek is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Collins gets his way!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
You can see the frustration on Petrasek's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Petrasek dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Petrasek fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Collins, pushing him back against the cage.
Petrasek lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Collins backwards.

Petrasek would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Petrasek is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Petrasek really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Collins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Collins pulls Petrasek in close to prevent any damage.
Petrasek wanted to stand there but Collins had control of the position.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Collins will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Petrasek throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Collins.

Petrasek closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

I would just about give that final round to David Petrasek.
