Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veremko wants to clinch up but Kivipelto keeps it at a distance.
Veremko moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Veremko throws a nice looking combination but Kivipelto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Veremko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kivipelto paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Veremko fails in his attempt to clinch.
Veremko is looking to clinch but Kivipelto is avoiding it.
Kivipelto shoots in and bounces Veremko off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kivipelto wants to pass the guard but Veremko is keeping the position.
Kivipelto keeps trying to improve his position.
Kivipelto slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Veremko is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kivipelto has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kivipelto cracks Veremko with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Veremko is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Kivipelto lands a nice forearm strike.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kivipelto wants to lay and pray for a moment but Veremko keeps working.
Kivipelto working the head and body with strikes.
Kivipelto wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Veremko, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kivipelto advances to mount.
A big strike lands for Kivipelto! That's really hurt Veremko and he's turned his back - Kivipelto keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Kivipelto jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
