Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oil Slick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Jameson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slick comes to the cage accompanied by Careful With That Axe Eugene. James Jameson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slick takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Slick gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Slick throws a leg kick that misses.
Jameson moves out of range as Slick throws a body kick.
Jameson closes the distance but Slick moves to the side

and Slick counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Slick works his way into full mount!
Jameson tries to lock up and control but Slick gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Slick throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Jameson because Slick loaded up on that one.
Jameson avoids a series of strikes thrown by Slick.
Jameson is trying to escape the mount.
Slick has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Slick lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Slick lands a big elbow.
Slick trying to control but Jameson is having none of it.

Jameson is looking to improve his position but Slick isn't that keen on the idea.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Jameson tries to hold on but Slick postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slick has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jameson's face.
Slick lands with some strikes.

Slick can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jameson is looking to escape.

Slick with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Slick has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slick is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Slick throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Slick slips a straight right by Jameson.
Slick throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Slick lands with a good body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jameson. Slick does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jameson misses with a series of wild punches.
Jameson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Slick swats away the attempt to clinch by Jameson.
Slick looks to land a left hand but Jameson moved out of range nicely.
A jab lands there for Jameson.
Slick avoids the body shot from Jameson.
Jameson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Some wild striking there from Jameson.
Slick throws a front kick aimed at Jameson's knee but Jameson avoids it well.

A slow jab from Slick misses its intended target.
James Jameson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Slick looks for a takedown but Jameson sprawls well.
A left lands for Jameson.

Slick shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jameson is trying to defend but Slick finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Oil Slick overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Jameson gets full guard.
Slick working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jameson's head.
Slick throws a strike but Jameson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Slick is looking for a triangle but Jameson pushes his legs off easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slick wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Slick looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Jameson is defending well. Slick quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Jameson has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Slick celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
