Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donald Gaskins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brande Eideann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gaskins's entrance music is Killing In The Name Of. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Eideann's choice of entrance music: We Didn't Start the Fire. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaskins has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gaskins there as he acknowledges the shot.
Eideann fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gaskins misses with a low kick.
Gaskins throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gaskins misses with a wild body shot.
Eideann takes a swing at Gaskins's ribcage but misses.

Eideann closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Eideann lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Gaskins has control of Eideann's left arm, preventing Eideann from doing any damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Eideann wants to take a breather but Gaskins is having none of it.
Gaskins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Eideann is working away from the top position though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Eideann looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gaskins with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Eideann has an Americana. Gaskins didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Eideann is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Eideann hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
