The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hubbard falls off balance throwing a combination

and Sakkara counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sakkara.

Sakkara breaks from the clinch.
Hubbard misses with a right hand
and Sakkara counters with a right hand to the body.
Hubbard misses with an uppercut. Sakkara saw that one coming.
Hubbard on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Marcus Sakkara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hubbard steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sakkara.
Sakkara lands a jab.

It looks like Dwayne Hubbard has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Good work by Sakkara as he checks the leg kick.
Hubbard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sakkara throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hubbard stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sakkara looks to land a combination but Hubbard avoids it well.
Sakkara tries to bum rush Hubbard with a series of wild strikes but Hubbard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sakkara moves away from the strike by Hubbard.

Hubbard misses with a two punch combination.
Hubbard throws a hook but Sakkara avoids it easily.
Hubbard darts in looking for a takedown but Sakkara gets double underhooks and turns Hubbard into the cage.
Sakkara throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hubbards head.
Sakkara lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hubbard backwards.
Hubbard misses with a body punch.
Hubbard wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Sakkara's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hubbard misses with the combination.
Sakkara scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Sakkara lands a big right hand that sends Hubbard crashing to the mat! Sakkara stays standing though and waves Hubbard back to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sakkara thuds a left hand into Hubbard's body.
Hubbard looks winded!
Hubbard throws a right hand that Sakkara ducks under and follows up with a left that Sakkara also avoids with ease.
Sakkara cracks a nice hook into Hubbard's ribs.
Sakkara cracks Hubbard with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Hubbard tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sakkara pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Hubbard is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
