Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Emil Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and charles white (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer connects with a crisp jab.

It looks like charles white has been cut.
white throws a lazy right hand but Hammer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The crowd cheers as Hammer lands an impressive looking overhand right. white doesn't seem phased though.
white avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hammer misses with a series of wild punches.

white bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

white tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Hammer is looking for a sweep.

white trying to pass the guard but Hammer defending well.

white looks to land a strike but Hammer avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
white wants to control from the top but Hammer keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
white shoots in but Hammer avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hammer throws an overhand right that lands on white's shoulder, as white tries to avoid the shot.
Hammer looks to land a combination but white avoids it well.
Hammer cracks white with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Emil Hammer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hammer throws a left that rocks white and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Hammer dives into side control, looking to finish! Can white regain composure!

Hammer cracks white with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
white is looking to improve his position but Hammer isn't that keen on the idea.
Hammer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Hammer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
