Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Scalante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Archie Fallon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scalante kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Started from the bottom. Fallon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Between the Hammer and Anvil. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scalante avoids the head kick by Fallon.
Fallon scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Scalante doesn't seem bothered though.
Fallon throws a hook but Scalante avoids it easily.
Scalante fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Fallon misses with a hook.
Scalante stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fallon pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Scalante connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Scalante throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fallon connects with a looping right hand.
Fallon throws a head kick but Scalante moves out of range.

and Scalante connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Scalante throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fallon plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Fallon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Scalante throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fallon counters with a three punch combo that has Scalante backing up. Scalante nods at Fallon to acknowledge the strikes.
Horrible takedown by Fallon or perhaps it was just good defense by Scalante which made him look bad.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Fallon.
Fallon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Scalante moves away.
Scalante stuffs the takedown.

Scalante stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Fallon.
Archie Fallon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Scalante throws a right and a left that Fallon avoids nicely.
A head kick misses from Scalante.
Scalante throws a right hand that Fallon ducks under and follows up with a left that Fallon also avoids with ease.

Fallon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fallon slips a jab and a cross from Scalante.
Fallon lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Scalante at a distance.
Fallon jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Fallon lands a left and a right that send Scalante crashing to the mat, dazed. Fallon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Scalante is rocked!

It looks like Rocky Scalante has been cut.
Scalante moves away from the strike by Fallon.
Oh Scalante is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fallon connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Scalante out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Rocky Scalante was interviewed post fight and said '“What does it mean to be the best? It means you have to be better than the number two guy. But what gratification is there in that? He's a loser—that’s why he's number two.” '.
