Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilson Baldoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bushido Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baldoza kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Last Resort. The crowd seem to be enjoying Brown's choice of entrance music: Lights Please - J Cole. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wilson Baldoza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bushido Brown!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown moves into range and clinches up with Baldoza.
Baldoza wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Brown has him pressed against the cage.
The referee calls for Brown to work.
Baldoza tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Brown just stands there and leans against the cage.
Brown has Baldoza pressed against the cage.
We've been informed that Brown has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Baldoza has picked Brown up - he's going for a ride! Baldoza dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Brown is staying active underneath Baldoza, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Baldoza seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Baldoza is looking to advance position but Brown won't allow it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brown is looking for a sweep. Baldoza is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Baldoza tries to pass to full mount but Brown defends it.
Baldoza is working hard here to advance position.
Baldoza thows a huge punch but Brown dodges it nicely.
Brown has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Baldoza is working away from the top position though.
Baldoza has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Baldoza seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Brown motions for Baldoza to come forward. Brown throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Brown lands a leg kick that knocks Baldoza off balance momentarily.

Bushido Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brown motions for Baldoza to come forward. Brown throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Brown connects with a solid leg kick.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bushido Brown will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Brown turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Brown.

Brown clinches up with Baldoza and pushes him back against the cage.
Brown scores with a hook to the body.
Brown lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Baldoza misses with a hook to the ribs.
Baldoza is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Brown to keep the fight standing.
Brown presses Baldoza against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

It looks like Wilson Baldoza has been cut.

Baldoza tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Oh Baldoza is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brown lands a good knee to the midsection. Baldoza won't want to take too many of those.

Brown gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Brown using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Brown has Baldoza pressed against the cage. He pushes Baldoza back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Brown throws a beautiful elbow that sends Baldoza crashing to the floor! Brown piles on the pressure with more strikes! Baldoza is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bushido Brown!
An out of breath Bushido Brown thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
