The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rogalewski darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Rogalewski is taking a breather. Wayne says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Wayne tries to roll over but Rogalewski keeps him under control.

Wayne is not content to let Rogalewski control the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Damian Rogalewski wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Wayne bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Rogalewski's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Wayne wants to stand but Rogalewski has his arm trapped.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rogalewski is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Wayne tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rogalewski knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Wayne wants to pass to mount but Rogalewski is defending the position.

Wayne is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rogalewski sees it coming and defends easily.
Wayne throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wayne slips a nice elbow through Rogalewski's hands, connecting with Rogalewski's forehead.

Wayne is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rogalewski defends it well.
Rogalewski tries to roll over but Wayne keeps him under control.

Rogalewski pulls Wayne in close to prevent any damage.
Wayne is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Rogalewski pushes a forearm under Wayne's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Wayne is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
