Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Lawrence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Laranja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Ronnie Lawrence has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lawrence shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lawrence was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Laranja is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lawrence really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lawrence is desperately trying to improve his position but Laranja has a good base and remains in mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lawrence is controlling an arm, preventing Laranja from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Lawrence will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Laranja is looking to control Lawrence but Lawrence is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Laranja has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Lawrence! Can he survive? No! He's out! Laranja gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
