The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Jonhnson does no damage.
Jonhnson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hardon Jr gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Some wild striking there from Jonhnson.
Hardon Jr slips under a jab.
Hardon Jr darts in and clinches Jonhnson up against the cage.

No joy there for Jonhnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hardon Jr shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hardon Jr showed some decent athleticism there.
