Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Kung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paskal Aubin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stefan Kung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paskal Aubin!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aubin throws a head kick but Kung moves out of range.
Aubin has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kung is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Kung drives through with a takedown into guard.
Aubin keeping full guard, as Kung tries to pass.
Aubin wants to stand up but Kung is controlling him.

Aubin is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Aubin bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Kung is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Aubin is just riding it out for now. Kung eventually gives up the hold.

Kung is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Aubin has managed to free his arm - good work.
Aubin looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kung is trying to control the action in half guard but Aubin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Aubin is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Kung is working for a kimura but Aubin is defending it quite comfortably.
Aubin is looking to escape.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kung thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Aubin's head.

Kung is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Aubin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kung.
Kung wants to lay and pray for a moment but Aubin keeps working.

Aubin wants to get back to his feet.
Kung knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aubin on the ground.

Kung is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Kung keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Kung has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Aubin pushes Kung off but Kung dives into side control.

Kung looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Aubin is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stefan Kung dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


A kick lands to the mid section there for Aubin.
Aubin throws a push kick but Kung slaps the foot to one side.
Aubin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Aubin fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kung checks it well.
Kung takes one to the side of the head.
Kung takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Aubin throws the kick towards the body but Kung avoids it.
Aubin throws a right hand that Kung ducks under and follows up with a left that Kung also avoids with ease.
Kung takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Aubin stuffs the takedown attempt from Kung. Kung gets slowly back to his feet.
Paskal Aubin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kung will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kung shoots in for a takedown but Aubin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stefan Kung. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Kung or perhaps it was just good defense by Aubin which made him look bad.
Aubin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kung takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Aubin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kung.

Kung is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Aubin's half guard.

Kung has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Aubin defend it? Kung steps over the head and cranks it - Aubin is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kung!
