Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luciano Hurley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luciano Hurley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Keller!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurley avoids a kick to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Keller looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hurley forces Keller back against the cage and clinches.
Keller throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Hurley has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Keller is trying to keep an underhook but Hurley manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Keller is looking to control Hurley's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Keller avoid being mounted?

Hurley seems to be working for a kimura but Keller defends the submission attempt.

Hurley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Keller defends it well.

Hurley looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hurley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Keller is trying to control but can't.
Keller is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Hurley is staying active.
Keller gets back to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hurley postures up.
Hurley wants to stand but Keller has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Keller wants to hit a switch here but Hurley passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Keller there!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hurley looking to finish Keller with some ground and pound. This is bad for Keller!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hurley is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Keller can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Keller wants to control but Hurley is having none of it.

Hurley moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Keller has worked his arm free - good work by Keller!
Keller takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Hurley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Keller on the ground.
Keller gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Keller slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Hurley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hurley trying to stand up but can't free himself from Keller's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Hurley avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Keller is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Keller escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hurley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hurley gets to his feet - Keller follows without any prompting.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jason Keller will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Keller misses with a wild combination.
Keller closes the distance but Hurley moves to the side

and Hurley holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Hurley is pressed up against the cage. Keller has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hurley down to the mat. Hurley avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jason Keller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hurley blocks a head kick by Keller.
Hurley shoots in for a takedown but Keller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Keller fails with a takedown attempt.
Keller tries a head kick but it misses.

Hurley looking to score a takedown here. Keller is defending well but Hurley drives through and ends up in Keller's guard.
Hurley has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Keller is proving hard to escape from.
Keller wants to stand but Hurley is controlling the position.
Hurley has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Keller has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Hurley doesn't defend quickly enough and Keller has managed to lock this one up! Can Hurley escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Keller on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jason Keller!
