Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Havener (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasiliy Zadov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Havener comes into the arena with My Dick: Mickey Avalon blaring out of the sound system. Zadov has chosen Hu Ha as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Havener gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Havener manages to break the clinch.

Havener moves into range and clinches up with Zadov.
Zadov blocks an elbow strike from Havener.

Havener jumps into guard, dragging Zadov to the mat.
Havener seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zadov postures up in Havener's guard and throws a big left but Havener blocks it.

Zadov throws an elbow that misses. Havener uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Zadov's guard. Nice move by Havener!
Zadov is looking to stand up but Havener isn't so interested in that idea.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zadov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Havener gets to his feet - Zadov follows without any prompting.

Havener closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Zadov's coach down at Ivan's house of pain [300$] was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Zadov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Havener moves into the clinch.
Zadov is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Zadov content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Havener creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Zadov is looking to control Havener's arms but Havener gets an underhook and turns him. Now Zadov has his back to the cage.

We've been told by Havener's head coaches at Academy of Combat that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Zadov leaves his chin hanging out and Havener seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Zadov crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
