The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ares tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Blane manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Blane scores with a shot to the body.

Ares has taken the fight to the clinch.

Blane decides to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Blane flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Blane tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Ares manages to move to mount!

It looks like Jonny Blane has been cut.
Blane is breathing heavily.

Ares lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Blane! Ares sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Blane and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
