Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Duck Tycoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tycoon comes to the cage accompanied by Rubber Ducky. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tycoon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Taylor .
A solid leg kick lands there for Tycoon.
Taylor takes a swing at Tycoon's ribcage but misses.
Tycoon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Taylor .
Taylor ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tycoon moves away.
Taylor scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Tycoon throws the left hand but Taylor avoids the punch easily.
Taylor throws out a loose jab but Tycoon uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tycoon moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Tycoon throws a leg kick but Taylor checks it.
Taylor takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Taylor closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tycoon to the mat! Tycoon manages to get full guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Tycoon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Taylor defends well.
My spies in Ballas Only inform me that Taylor has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tycoon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tycoon has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Taylor postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Taylor throwing strikes but missing.
Taylor stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Tycoon has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Taylor manages to get his head free but now Tycoon has transitioned to an armbar! Taylor grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Tycoon! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Duck Tycoon!
A relieved looking Duck Tycoon thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
