The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pham fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nuzinho sprawls well initially but Pham persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pham tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nuzinho sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pham somewhat.
Pham walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Leo Nuzinho spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
