Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Kunitskiy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norris comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kryptonite kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Chuck Norris!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kunitskiy shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Norris is trying to defend but Kunitskiy finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Kunitskiy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Kunitskiy content to control rather than advance.
Norris keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Kunitskiy seems to be looking for submissions.

Kunitskiy looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Norris has picked Kunitskiy up and slammed him! Kunitskiy can't keep hold of the triangle and Norris manages to pass to side control!

Chuck Norris has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Kunitskiy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Norris napping and manages to drive through into side control!

A nice leg kick lands there from Kunitskiy.
The fighters circle momentarily. Norris darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Kunitskiy has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Norris.
Norris tries to clinch there but Kunitskiy circles away.

Kunitskiy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kunitskiy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Norriss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Kunitskiy closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Norris quickly recovers to half guard.

Norris moves in looking to clinch but Kunitskiy pushes him off.

Kunitskiy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Nice takedown defense from Norris. No joy for Kunitskiy on that attempt.
Chuck Norris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Norris gets caught flat footed, as Kunitskiy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Norris slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Vladimir Kunitskiy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kunitskiy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Norris avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kunitskiy throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Norris must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Well Kunitskiy has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
