Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ali Bash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Thunderstruck. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bash closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jones's guard.

Bash darts in looking for a takedown but Jones gets double underhooks and turns Bash into the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jones with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bash to score with a decent uppercut.
Jones needs to keep his hands up - Bash had a free shot at his head there.
Jones scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jones misses with an attempted mid kick.
Jones moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bash clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage.

Bash's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Bash counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jones won't be happy with that.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bash is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jones's shoulder. That is not cool.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ali Bash has got the better of the ground game so far.
Jones tries to buck Bash off but Bash is having none of it.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bash staying calm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ali Bash.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jones.
A combination from Jones does no damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bash is defended easily by Jones.
